For over 5,000 documented years, Qigong has been used by emperors, the royal bloodlines and members of elite martial schools like Shaolin & Wudang. These ancient people used Advanced Qigong Breathing Exercises and slow movements to develop their "Qi-Energy" which they observed to be magnetic in nature, animating all living beings. Qigong Healing

with Jenn Downey, Certified Qigong Instructor Jennifer Downey

Jenn has been practicing Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong for nearly 20 years. She is a Workshop Facilitator for the Supreme Science Qigong Center, and is a licensed Acupunture Physician and certified Chinese Herbologist (NCCAOM). Jenn teaches Oriental Medical Theory at the Florida School of Massage, Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Academy for Five Element Acupunture, and is cofounder of Gainesville Community Acupunture. She has taught Qigong and nutritional healing classes nationwide, bringing gentle clarity and humor to the learning experience.

In this half-day workshop, you will:

  • Learn breathing and movement to boost your own energy level.
  • Learn simple techniques to develop strong immune function and overall health.
  • Increase your sensitivity to Qi.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Cotton-sole Tai chi shoes recommended, but not required.
Bring a yoga mat, if you have one.
